Debbie was fanatical about feeding only the best to her beloved dog Misty. ONE bowl of Fromm's & Misty Dies. Coincidence? Chinese-made Fromm's was forced by the FDA to pull their canned dog food & there's a Class Action Law Suit against them. But because Misty ate the dry, not canned food, Fromm's told Debbie to get lost! And it gets worse.....

Most major petfood companies have had some type of recall in the last 10-20 years[if they've been around that long] but Fromm's was regarded, I thought as a premium food, too bad it was Chinese Dog Poison. I trust Nutro, US made and now owned by Mars Petcare, I think they have a great overall track record...and I uh, [cough] don't work for any company affiliated with any petfood.
I Aaron!
I'm sure you [cough] don't!. Debbie thought the same thing about Fromm's but apparently (she did a lot of research), there has been a change of ownership and a very distinct change in manufacturing techniques, as well as location. The Fromm's you're thinking of is now Fromm's in name only.
We go as far as to buy custom-made dry dog food from a local manufacturer who delivers it to our house. Our dogs are the most spoiled on the planet in general.
But that being said, I would have no idea if they suddenly downgraded their quality to save money unless our dogs didn't like the taste and wouldn't eat it.
It's kind of scary.
Sincerely,
Mr. UNZ
Coughing aside, Nutro IS very highly regarded in the dog food world. I hope they (and Paul's Petfood, to give them a plug, where we get our dog-food), don't ever go the Fromm's route. Like I said, it's scary.
