Every so often, I'll blog-surf looking for interesting or intriguing blogs I wasn't aware of (and to keep an eye on what other bloggers are doing too: got to stay cutting edge!).
This trip I came across a blog from India called Ravi's Blog: A Hyperactive Alter-ego of Fictional Characters. Not being able to figure out what a "Hyperactive Alter-ego of Fictional Characters" could possibly mean, I clicked on the site to visit.
The first thing I figured out was that Ravi was an IT guy who hates Windows and loves Linux. But unlike a lot of IT guy blogs, he writes about a whole variety of interesting topics...including operating systems: OK, Ravi; ubuntu rocks. But he also has sections for General Topics, Consumer Electronics, Music, and a whole host more. Most importantly, they are well written.
But the most fascinating/must visit section is the About page. This is on every blog and tells the reader what TV shows you watch, who is your favorite celebrity, what's your favorite food, what your hobbies are....you've seen them all before. But Ravi's About page is fascinating!
He details his family history going back to his ancestors: literally! It in itself is a riveting story and kind of embarrasses me since I don't even know much about my great-parents, let alone my ancestors. It's a story of Kings and land grants and the British Colonial days and is worth a visit just to read about his genealogy up to the current day.

Hi pals,
I work closely with Mr. Ravi in business. I feel proud and priviliged to be associated with such a person.
May god give him 24+ hours a day, bugs of beer with cigars and good health.....

bugs of beer with cigars and good health? isnt that all a bit contradicting?
And by the way Mr. Unloading Zone, Thanks for the review :D
