Petition for the Open Carry of Handguns in Texas

I carry a Concealed Handgun License for Texas and carry a handgun most of the time. It has always mystified me why Texas has some of the most progressive (meaning pro-gun) carry laws in the nation but does not allow open carry, the biggest deterrent to crime. This is a petition that explains the advantages, & if you live in TX, you can sign it. It's just common sense.
