SnusCENTRAL.org Beta Launched!

OK, I admit it. Even I couldn't wait any more. Plus I have a couple of new (I think) really great articles I posted on SnusCENTRAL.org but not on The Unloading Zone.

So call this a premature birth: the functionality is about 85% done, the content loading is going to take a LONG time, but some times you just have to say....WHY NOT?

So going forward, the entire topic of Snus, Smokeless Tobacco, and everything related is only going to be on SnusCENTRAL.org.

I've moved all my snus posts over, I'm working on moving all your comments over and a lot more stuff. There are some place-holders so if you see something obviously stupid content-wise, we know and it will be cleaned up.

In fact, the site will different every day...sometimes you'll notice it, sometimes you won't, and a couple of times, you'll say WOW!

Sign up as a Member when you go there, click on your activation email, and then log in. A lot of the good stuff is hidden or not accessible to visitors: Members only. It's free and now I won't have to remember who "Anonymous 24" is when I'm responding to comments because you can create your own user name.

Once you're logged in, go to the Member Area on the menu bar and on the drop-down, you'll see a tab marked Badges.

The top one is a Founding Member badge. That Badge will only be there for a limited time so if you like it, grab the code while you can! I want all my friends here to have first crack at it if you like it.

There are like 20 other ones too so if you want one of those too/instead, grab the code. They'll be up a while.

I really hope you like the site. I also REALLY want your FEEDBACK, and Suggestions; things you DON'T like or would never use; things you DO like, things you would LIKE to see and if you find any bugs.....you will; we don't do the final QC until everything for Version 1 is done on the functional side.... let us know. You are all officially Beta Testers.

I'm not going to publicize the site until all the functionality is in place, but feel free to invite your friends. It's not a secret....as soon as I turned it on, people found it by organic search...including our friends at RJ Reynolds.
